A matchup between two of the top passing offenses is on tap this Sunday – I can’t wait! For the second week in a row, football fans will be treated to a battle of elite offenses – this week Peyton Manning battles Philip Rivers.
Chargers WR Patrick Crayton underwent surgery on his left wrist Wednesday after having been injured in San Diego’s 35-14 win over Denver on Monday night.
Chargers head coach Norv Turner said Crayton would likely be sidelined 2-3 weeks.
“I wanted to see how I would respond to defenders being in the way and making unexpected cuts in the flow of a route,” Gates said. “Everything has been controlled to this point. I didn’t finish, but I’m incredibly sore.”
Mike Tolbert took the handoff and analyzed the protection in front of him. The Chargers running back normally takes a beat to find a crease and exploit it, but on this particular fourth-quarter play, he had options.
