Vincent Jackson has been officially taken off of the roster exempt list and onto the active roster. K Kris Brown was released in order to make room for Jackson.

Vincent Jackson is expected to start the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night. Jackson had been sitting out the early part of the season with a contract dispute. He will be back in uniform and will provide a big target for Philip Rivers. The other receiving options keeps dropping like flies. Patrick Crayton was the latest casualty last night with a dislocated wrist. Malcom Floyd tweeked his hamstring in the game also. Antonio Gates’ status is still up in the air and Legedu Naanee has not been able to get on the field since week 2. Vincent Jackson is a Pro Bowl level Wide Receiver and most importantly he is HEALTHY! He will see a lot of action this Sunday!

dang… chippin in on that one a little late… but yea, i can admit when i was wrong. I guess I was blinded by the BIG need that we had at wide receiver and thought that he would step up like a man…

didn’t realize he was a child and is gonna just suffer from a ‘calf injury’. I still don’t think that this injury is REAL! whateva, I am ready to move on from VJ and his shenanigans.
