Quick Hits From Chargers Country

The Chargers are rank second in the league in yards allowed per game and we are ranked first in the league in yards per play allowing only 4.6 yards per play. So even with short fields, we are able to limit the big plays against us. The team is putting pressure on the opposing quarterbacks ranking third in the league in sacks with 27, just one behind the league lead. The Bolts have allowed a total of 197 points–46 of these points are from punt returns/blocks, kickoffs, safeties, interceptions and fumble returns–all points that the defense could not prevent. The league leader has allowed only 143 points.
