Step back with me through memory lane: A few weeks ago the San Diego Chargers had lost to the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs were coming off of a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. All things in Kansas City seemed great and they had Bar-B-Q sizzling out at the block parties celebrating the crown for the AFC West (just my imagination of what happens in KC)! I then made the BOLD prediction saying that the Chargers would catch the Chiefs and got HAMMERED for it.

Here is what I wrote:

You have started at 4-2, but despite the Chargers victory, you have wins against the Browns, 49ers, and the Jaguars! That is absolutely nothing to brag about. None of those teams can even tie their own shoe laces!

I will go ahead and name the games that you will lose this season:
at Oakland Raiders (cant believe i will be rooting for the Raiders in this game)
at Denver Broncos
at San Diego Chargers in BLOWOUT FASHION
at Seattle Seahawks
Tennessee Titans

- Ernie Padaon

Look at how far we have come since that day. The Chiefs ended up losing to the Raiders and the Broncos as predicted and the Chargers also got victories against the Titans and the Texans! It is just a matter of time till the Chargers catch and pass up the Chiefs!

Check out the quote from our Arrowhead Addict friends:

Its been a lot of fun pretending we were a good team these last two months. I’ve enjoyed that. As it turns out, we’re not that good. – Arrowhead Addict

Let’s throw a welcoming party for the Kansas City Chiefs, they just came back to earth! The Chiefs look like they are starting to fall apart and we are breathing right down the back of their necks! Their confidence is shaken and let’s see how they can respond to the last couple of losses. I am not so sure that they are even confident that they can beat the Arizona Cardinals at this point. When it rains it POURS!!

Our Bolts still have lots of work to do, so let’s not get too ahead of ourselves! We still are in 3rd place in the standings, BUT it sure feels good to know that the competition around us is just not as good as they thought they were… AND we are much better!!!

P.S. I have been to KC and the Bar-B-Q is amazing!!! The football team, NOT SO MUCH!!

It’s great when people can admit defeat and that they were wrong. At least now they’re back to reality as opposed to living in their imaginary fantasy world. I can’t wait to be at that game!
