Antonio Gates is ruled out.

Adam Schefter reported that Antonio gates will sit out todays game against the Texans. Gates has sat out practice all week, and has been seen wearing a boot to keep pressure off his foot. he suffered a sprained plantar fascia in his right foot during last weekend’s 33-25 victory over the Titans. He also has a turf-toe injury in his left foot. With a bye week coming up perhaps this is the best move to keep gates healthy down the stretch, Randy McMicheal will start today against the Texans.
