Shawne Merriman is being brought in for a physical today and if he passes, the Chargers will have to release him onto the waiver wire. He will be joining another Pro Bowl Level player in Randy Moss on this wavier Tuesday.

Merriman was a dominant force with the San Diego Chargers before he suffered an injury against the Tennessee Titans years ago. Some people will argue that his downfall started with his suspension for steroids. Either way, he was a linebacker that put fear in the opposing quarterback for his vicious hits.

I hope that he does well wherever he goes unless its to the stupid Jets or anybody in our division! Let’s see where he lands and see how he performs for his new team. If he tears it up for his new team, we can just put it down on the scorecard for another player we cut too early!!!
