Randy Moss Waived… I know I am Dreaming, BUT Just Imagine

Minnesota Vikings

So, Randy Moss just was waived by the Minnesota Vikings and the only thing that is good about the crap record that the Chargers have right now is that we are in the front of the line to pick him up. I know I am dreaming, BUT when you can add a talent to the roster to a Chargers team that started Seyi Ajirotutu at WR last weekend, then you should make that move!!!

Will they make it? HIGHLY DOUBTFUL!!! The Chargers do not like to bring in players that can disrupt the chemistry on a team and Randy Moss has been a head case for the last season and throughout his career. There is a reason why the Pats got rid of him and there is a reason why he is sitting on the waiver wire right now. I would absolutely LOVE to say this is happening, BUT I would be dreaming! One can dream though, can’t he!!! Rivers with Moss, Gates, VJ in a couple of weeks!!! WOW!!!

The Chargers are ranked #1 in total Offense and ranked #3 in total Defense. The problem with the Chargers are their Special Teams. Unless Randy Moss can block and tackle for Special Teams, there’s no point in the Chargers picking up Moss.

our starting receivers last week were Patrick Crayton and Seyi Ajirotutu.. Rivers had to throw underneath a lot last week to his running backs and didn’t have receivers to get the ball to. That is not going to work all the time. The reason why Moss helps in special teams, we will punt that much less!!! !

I’m not saying Moss isn’t going to help the Offense, but the Chargers single-handedly lost 3 games because of special teams and yesterday it could’ve been a different game if that safety was a TD against them.

Other than that, they pretty much outplayed every single team on offense and played well enough on defense. Plus, why do you have to drop bombs to win games? The Patriots and the Saints dink and dunk all day and win games. If the Chargers had a special teams they would be undefeated this season.

turns out Moss was not on the waiver wire… But, just for the point of talkin…

I agree with you, our special teams have been TERRIBLE!! and they have lost us games. But look at the receiving unit right now!! we are about to go into another game with Crayton, Tutu, and Banks as our receivers. There is potential there, but those kids still need to develop. Legedu has been recovering for a long time and still is not healthy… Malcom has the same injury as Legedu. VJax will be an upgrade, but we will see how much he wants to play for the Chargers (same point everyone tries to bring up on Moss). WE ARE HURTING!!!
