The San Diego Chargers signed linebacker David Herron. Herron played for the Kansas City Chiefs last year and is an excellent special teams player. He can also give the team a little insight on the Chiefs since he was in their playbook last season.

To make room  for Herron the Chargers placed Cyril Obiozor on waivers.
