Rolling Black Out

JACKSONVILLE, FL - NOVEMBER 18: Philip Rivers #17 of the San Diego Chargers throws a pass over Grady Jackson #90 of the Jacksonville Jaguars at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on November 18, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jaguars won the game 24-17. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

8000 tickets still remain for the San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars game and if they are not sold by tomorrow, the game will not be televised on local television. The Jacksonville Jaguars are used to their games being blacked out as 7 of their 8 home games last season were blacked out. People just don’t want to watch them and this game is followed by a disappointing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. We can blame it on the economy, the Jags, or fair weather fans. Take your pick, all three contribute to a game that we will not see.

I suggest, Dean Spanos buy the rest of the tickets. I think he has some spare cash lying around since Marcus McNeill and Vincent Jackson are sitting out the season. We want to see the game at our  local watering hole!!! We want to see Ryan Mathews in his home debut!
