Baby Rivers??

KANSAS CITY, MO - SEPTEMBER 13: Quarterback Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers walks off the field at halftime in the rain during the game against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 13, 2010 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

Stop all the noise about Philip Rivers being a baby!!! The kid plays hard and is passionate about the game and wants to win. His teammates respect him and that is all that matters. He is the leader of the team and he gets after it. People will call him a cry baby or they will say that he is childish. Nobody is more confident than Rivers in close and late situations and the dude is just clutch. Nobody wants to win as bad as him and other teams would love to have him in their backfield.  There are not many other QBs in this league that I would rather have under center.

From an outsider’s perspective, it’s easy to look at his body language. To me, I would never change any of it. That’s the energy he provides to the team & it’s consistent. That’s needed on this team. Phil does it his own way & we really love him – Nick Hardwick (Chargers Center)

What do you guys think?? Crybaby?

I’d rather have Drew Brees…but SD made the mistake of choicing cry baby rivers over him.

i hear ya….. breesy was a good QB and we hated losing him and then he just killed it in NO. He would be one of the few I MIGHT take over Rivers

So go root for the Saints, make it official. Brees has won a Superbowl because he has a complete team. Something the Chargers don’t have yet. Give Philip a team like that and he’ll work wonders. At least Brees has an o-line and Defense to work with. Wouldn’t want any other QB. Though I love Brees but not even him would I take over Rivers. He isn’t the reason we haven’t won.
