A ruling for the suspension issued by the Chargers on Vincent Jackson will be heard on Thursday September 16th. During the hearing, they will  determine if the team issued suspension would carry over to another team if he were to be traded.

If the suspension does not carry over to other teams, this will increase his trade value to other teams. He already has to miss the first 3 weeks of the season due to a suspension for multiple DUIs.

After Thursday’s game, the Minnesota Vikings better take a good look at making a trade for the receiver. Their star receiver is out for 6 weeks or more after hip surgery and it is unknown how he will perform when he returns. The wide receivers in Thursday’s game combined for a total of 56 yards, 0 touchdowns , and a fumble. They will definitely need an improvement from that position if they expect to contend for a title this year.

Other teams that could be interested would include the Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks.
