Spanos Speaks about McNeill and Jackson

Owner of the San Diego Chargers spoke with Kevin Acee and says:

They have put themselves in this position. We did not put them in this position

The ongoing drama continues… I don’t even know if I consider this news anymore. It is all the same thing!!! I like how he says:

I believe they need to sign the tenders and come in and see what happens after that

I know what’s going to happen…. you guys will start playing for barely anything and then you will have an injury, because that is what happens to everyone that holds out.  Shawne Merriman held out and is just getting back to the practice field.  He is not going to get a long term deal anytime this season.

The only player that MIGHT work out a long term deal with the Chargers is Marcus McNeill. He has not caused any unnecessary commotion during this whole process. He seems to be acting as professional as you can during this.

We shall see and this all can change tomorrow!
