The Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Todd Haley showed his respect to the San Diego Chargers team in some recent quotes:

Chiefs coach Todd Haley is not making any promises that he will christen the new Arrowhead Stadium with a win over the Chargers. “They are the top dog,” Haley said. “If I had to choose, I don’t know if I would have chosen San Diego right out of the gate.”

Chiefs coach Todd Haley on the Chargers coaching staff: “They have a good, stable coaching staff. (Norv) Turner has things well-oiled, and that shows in results. They are a good team. We are clearly going to have to play above our potential.”

Todd Haley is definitely not an idiot, as he was the offensive coordinator of the high scoring Arizona Cardinals offense a couple of years ago.  The Chiefs will be hungry to knock off the top dog OR maybe coach Haley is just making sure that he has a potential position as an offensive coordinator with the Chagers if this season becomes a failure with Kansas City.
