I just like the experience that Owens has in offenses that are expected to "bring it." The only league experience Josh Reed is leaning on is 8 seasons in a feeble Bills offense. Plus, Reed isn't much use when you're trying to stretch the field and spread that defense. reed hasn't had a catch of more than 40 yards in four seasons and on top of that, he only has three of those kinds of catches in his career. Maybe he'll be decent in short yardage or in the slot with Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee (or hopefully Vincent Jackson, but we will see how that goes). I would see giving Owens on oppurtunity in a GOOD OFFENSE would give him a "put up or shut up forever" kind of year that would either end up in a huge comeback, or retirement for the superstar.
